2015 was a big year at UNC Charlotte. While it was a tough job, we’ve laid out our choices for the top 15 highlights and game-changers. We’ve taken a few and added snow for your viewing pleasure!

  6. Philip L. Dubois celebrates his 10th anniversary as chancellor.
  7. The long-anticipated Pride of Niner Nation Marching Band debuts.
  8. The Hunter and Stephanie Edwards Promenade is dedicated following a $1M gift to athletics.
  9. The Charlotte 49ers make their FBS conference debut.
  10. Childress Klein gave $2.5M for the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate.
  11. The Nancy and David Hauser Alumni Pavilion is dedicated during football season.
  12. Thousands come to campus for the 40th annual International Festival.
  13. The University dedicates the Vickie and Gene Johnson Band Center.
  14. Robert Niblock donates $2.5M to the Student Center for Professional Development.
  15. First Ward Park, adjacent to UNC Charlotte's Center City Building, is dedicated.
