Shayna Long
Shayna Long is the Senior Director of Annual Giving at UNC Charlotte. She oversees a team of six annual giving professionals, including a Donor Experience team. Annual Giving leads a variety of initiatives, including crowdfunding, #GivingTuesday, Student Philanthropy Center, and the University’s giving day, #NinerNationGives, to help to grow programmatic and scholarship support across the University.
Before joining UNC Charlotte in 2014, Shayna worked in marketing for World Trade Center Savannah and the Headley-Whitney Museum in Lexington, Kentucky. She holds a bachelor of arts in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky and a master of arts in Arts Administration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Shayna serves on the planning committee for the Southeast Annual Giving Conference, and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education and the Association of Fundraising Professionals Charlotte chapter.
