Five Cool Things

1. Never Forget:

9/11 Vigil

In the still early-morning hours of Monday, Sept. 11, UNC Charlotte Air Force ROTC cadets stood vigil at UNC Charlotte's 9/11 Memorial. Starting at midnight, the students took turns during a 24-hour period, standing as silent sentinels in memory of those who lost their lives in the deadliest terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

2. “30 Under 30”:

Six UNC Charlotte alums are among Charlotte Agenda’s 2017 class of "30 Under 30," hailed for leaving their unique marks on the city. Congrats to Laura Knight Bebe, Ashley Bookout, Brian Mister, Mellisa Oliver, Ghada Ternanni and Ash Williams. (picture from left to right)
